Our clients had purchased a small Cornish cottage on a large estate outside of Fowey, the transformation of the house and grounds were massive. The original house is now just the gallery area to the upper floor with two large wings added either side. In the grounds the old barn was converted into a two bedroom guest annexe and the garages renovated into a pool and gym. The paint scheme is sympathetic with its suroundings and again brings the outside in and visa versa. Furniture and fabrics have been chosen. Our client wanted the style of the house to be elegant and a mix of textures to balance with the amount of granite. They are keen ramblers so it is essential that there was a place for all those wellies and coats.
