Camellia News
Camellia have just completed an entire renovation and remodelling of a Georgian waterfront home on the south Cornish coast. The team were asked to step in after the client had planned with their architects for three years and the appointed interior designer had dropped out a week prior to the start of building works. We quickly picked up with the pace and the project’s works schedule. Work commenced in February and was completed on time and on budget by October. The work entailed two glass extensions, reconfiguring internal stud walls, relocating the kitchen and master bedroom, remodelling of all bathrooms, new roof, new central heating system, rewiring throughout and finally the interior design of the complete project. Every detail from hinges and door knobs to kitchen and bathroom layout, colour schemes and furniture was designed by Elaine Skinner at Camellia. The result was amazing. Have a look at the whole project in our gallery.
“Our brief to bring the outside in with the coastal colours, to maximise the sea views and to reorganise and simplify the room layouts has been delivered successfully. We are delighted that not only have all parts been fulfilled, but they have exceeded all our expectations.
