“Camellia Interiors helped us create the coastal holiday home that we always dreamed of. From the very beginning of the design process, Elaine and her design team were instrumental in creating a period home that required a special, expert touch to maintain family-style warmth and comfort in a very large space. With such a large project, it was essential to maintain control of a high volume of details and specifics, while moving the project forward. Fiona’s strong organisational skills started us off with detailed layouts for every element of the build, for all the trades and followed through to the details of the interior down to specific fabrics and trims. Camellia kept us appraised of the project schedule, costs vs. budget, installation plans, and punch lists at every stage.

Elaine has a knack for finding the perfect piece to complete the room; in our case, many pieces!. Elaine’s ability to work effectively with our architect and builder was a critical success factor, keeping our project on time and on budget. Although fraught at times, this was due to Camellia coming into the project so late after we were let down by our previous designer.

Decorating a home sounded like such an adventure to me when we started our project. I quickly learned that the number of options and decisions that are involved can make the design project overly complicated and burdensome to the typical homeowner. We relied on Elaine’s expertise to research the options and focus the suggestions on those that were most appropriate for our home and family lifestyle, saving us much time and energy and making the process more enjoyable for us. Elaine was a delight to work with, always responsive to our needs and considerate of our tastes, yet providing an expert eye for making our home design and décor work and look its best.
